This Residential school is started on 22nd January, 1999. Under Navneet Bahuudeshiya Sanstha. The students learning here are mainly of 3 communities i.e. Gond, kolam and Pardhan. The sanstha run it on its own expenses for one year. The next year Maharashtra state Govt. Support it by providing maintanance grant. It`s a story of success that 400 tribal students are learning here at present. Sanstha decided to expand it upto senior collage level. |

Started from July 2003, this non-residental Tribal school is providing quality education to the scheduled tribe students residing in the near by area of kalamb Tehsil of Yeotmal District.
Approved by ministry of tribal affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi and Affiliated to Additional Tribal Commissioner, Tribal Development, Amravati, 150 students from Gond, kolam and Pardhan Communities are learning here. Though there is no permission and grant for residential school the tribal ministry to give permission for conversion of this school to a Residential one, but till now there is no positive response from the ministry. |
